Slovene counts in three numbers: one (ednina), two (dvojina), and now three-or-more (množina). The nominative plural endings are tidy: feminine -a → -e (hiša → hiše), masculine + -i (stol → stoli), neuter -o → -a (okno → okna). A couple are irregular and worth knowing: otrok → otroci (children), človek → ljudje (people). Note: 3 and 4 take this plural; 5 and up switch to the genitive plural (next lesson).
