Slovenija je majhna, a zelo raznolika dežela. Na severu se dvigajo Alpe, na jugozahodu leži obala Jadranskega morja. V osrednjem delu je glavno mesto Ljubljana. Na vzhodu so rodovitne ravnice in vinogradi. Kljub majhnosti ima Slovenija gore, morje, jame in jezera.

Slovenia is a small but very diverse country. In the north the Alps rise, in the south-west lies the coast of the Adriatic Sea. In the central part is the capital, Ljubljana. In the east are fertile plains and vineyards. Despite its small size, Slovenia has mountains, the sea, caves and lakes.
