The twelve months are international: januar, februar, marec, april, maj, junij, julij, avgust, september, oktober, november, december. Two things to remember: Slovene writes them lower-case, and for dates you pair an ordinal with the month in the genitive — prvega januarja (on the 1st of January), petega maja (on the 5th of May).
