describe the weather, say what you'll do
The prihodnjik (future) uses biti in its future form (bom, boš, bo…) + the -l participle: bom šel (I will go). In the tožilnik (accusative) an adjective agrees with its noun: nosim toplo jakno (a warm jacket — both end -o). Conditions use če: če bo dež, vzamem dežnik (if it rains, I'll take an umbrella).

Jutri gremo na ekskurzijo. Vreme bo lepo in sončno, zato ne bom vzel dežnika. Oblekel bom udobne čevlje in toplo jakno, ker je zjutraj mrzlo. Najprej bomo obiskali staro mesto, nato pa se bomo sprehodili ob jezeru. Če bo vroče, bomo plavali. Komaj čakam!
