Ethical questions accompany us all our lives. What is right and what is wrong is not always simple to determine. For millennia philosophers have reflected on justice, freedom and responsibility. Some hold that the good is whatever benefits the most people; others stress duty and rules. In truth, we often have to choose between different values. The capacity for reflection and doubt is a sign of a mature personality.
