Weather verbs are wonderfully simple: pada dež (rain falls), sije sonce (the sun shines). To say how it is, use je + an adverb: je vroče (it's hot), je mrzlo (it's cold). For how you feel, use sem + an adjective: sem lačen (I'm hungry), sem žejen (I'm thirsty) — these change with gender (lačen / lačna).
