Piran je čudovito mestece ob morju na jugozahodu Slovenije. Ima ozke uličice, kamnite hiše in beneško arhitekturo. Na glavnem trgu stoji kip skladatelja Giuseppeja Tartinija, ki se je rodil v Piranu. Turisti radi sedijo v kavarnah ob obali in gledajo morje.

Piran is a wonderful little town by the sea in the south-west of Slovenia. It has narrow streets, stone houses and Venetian architecture. On the main square stands a statue of the composer Giuseppe Tartini, who was born in Piran. Tourists like to sit in the cafés along the coast and watch the sea.
