The imperative. To ti (one person, informal): the bare stem — delaj! (work!), pridi! (come!), poslušaj! (listen!). To vi (formal or plural): add -te — delajte! pridite! poslušajte! 'Let's' (we): add -mo — pojdimo! (let's go!), vstopimo! (let's get on!). Prohibition: ne + imperative — ne hodi! (don't go!). Soften any command with prosim (please).
